GIVEAWAY: Children's Spirit Hood! {CLOSED}

After 2 months of convincing Ruari this Husky Spirit Hood was not going to eat her or murder our dog... (Yes, I set the hat on Angus right when we got it and he squeaked... convincing Ruari that this hat was evil. Then, I put it on my head to show her it was ok... ummm... that made it worse. <------Fail. :D) I finally got her to put it on! And: she loves it!

Her fear of it has completely disappeared... thank goodness, because this hat is WAY too cute to not be worn! She puts it on her head.... walks to the mirror... smiles... then, takes it off and pats it like it's a real dog. Cuddles it. Shushes it. :) I do that to my hats too. ;)

So, Spirit Hoods was kind enough to send Ruari her choice of any of the children's hats. She chose the doggy (husky) of course. It was between that and the wolf. We love it. It's very cute, has little pockets for little hands, nice and warm over ears, could wrap up like a scarf, has a spot to write in your name... so, you don't get your Spirit Hood mixed up with your buddy's, ALSO comes in adult size (Yes, I think Ruari and I need matching hats), and any hat labled ProBlue donates 10% to save the animal that hat is modeled after. <----super cool. The only thing I'm not fond of: It is dry clean or hand wash only.... I wish I could just throw it in the washer if I needed. :) No biggie though.

What can you win?
Your choice of any of the Children's sized Spirit Hood!!!!

Ruari's new buddy bee...

So... little Miss Ruari got a little surprise in the mail the other day: A sweet little Wheely Bug Bumble Bee (size large) from Prince Lionheart! The moment I opened that package she was in LOVE with that bee! In LOVE!!!

At first she was a little weary of actually sitting on the bug.... the first 2 days were just Ruari pushing it around the house like a shopping cart and giving all of her stuffed animals rides. Then, she realized she could actually ride it! Wow... was she excited! She sits on it and moves around the house saying, "Weeee! Weeee!"

I pretty much love this bug too. It's cute, it's small enough it doesn't take up too much room, easy to clean off the peanut butter Ruari wiped all over it, VERY light (so light that Ruari can easily pick it up and move it over anything that's in her way), it's entirely non-toxic with no PVC's, AND.... I love this: the base is made from renewable plantation timber.
I also love that the seat part is actually a soft cushion. It's nice and soft. Which is great because I keep tripping and kicking it! ;D I sort of wish the handle was just a little higher... or adjustable for Ruari... she's kind of tall. Other than that it's such a great toy!

So, I very much recommend this toy and check out signing up for their monthly newsletter: Prince Lionheart. It's seriously hardly ANY email... and, it's nice to see what new products they have! Prince LionHeart is a great company! The people that work there are so very nice.

Prince Lionheart Sippy Cup giveaway! {CLOSED}

So... I've been using these sippy cups for a couple of months now. I just LOVE them. Before these I was using the Munchkin brand... BUT, these are so much better... what I love... and not like so much about these Prince Lionheart Sippy Cups....

Why I love it:
- I love how simple it is to put the nipple part in.... no need line up any tabs/marks (like with the munchkin). I haven't had it leak yet!
- Dishwasher safe: Ummm... ALWAYS a plus!!!
- It goes from being a baby bottle to sippy cup: I love this. Instead of having to buy sippy cups as your baby gets older... just use the sippy cup upgrade kit to update! Love that.
- It's easy for Ruari to pick up: the soft silicone sides help with this.
- Durable: Ruari seriously throw this thing around and beats it. It's still lookin good!

Downsides:
- The handles are not really attached and spin around: It's not really a big deal now... Ruari has gotten used to it. But, it would have been harder for her to use when she was around a year.
- The sippy nipple can get pushed in: That only really happens when ruari is chewing on it. ;)
- I'd love to see brighter colors: The sippy's can be hard to find when they blend into the massive mess in my diaper bag. Some brighter colors would be fun. :D

Yes: I VERY much recommend this. These sippy cups are my favorite for sure!

What can you win?
A Sippy Cup Upgrade kit from Prince Lionheart!

GIVEAWAY: $50 Coupon to Sissy Little Wall Decals! {CLOSED}

One of my sponsors, Sissy Little, sent me a little gift to enjoy and review! 4 tree wall decals! I was so excited! I've been looking for something like this to put up in Ruari's room!

More of my favorite from the shop:

Why I love it:
- Quality: It's made very well.
- Easier than painting something on the wall.
- Fast: It was more difficult than I expected to put up... but, it was fast.
- Looks great: It really looks great!

- Price: I have been looking at many wall decals lately... Sissy Little is cheaper than most I've seen!
- Color choices: They offer quite a wide variety of colors.

- Designs: Many cute and unique designs to choose from.
- Sample decal: They included a sample decal to test out before I tried out my large decals! It really did help!
- Easy to read/understand instructions: The instructions are written very well and include little drawings for examples.

Downsides:

- A little hard to put up: So... yes it was fast to put up... but, I expected a little bit easier. Maybe it was because my decals were so large.
- I'm not sure if it's my wall... or the paint on my wall... but: there are a couple of tiny spot where the decal is coming off just a bit. I pressed them back on... but, I followed the directions completely. It may just be that my wall has quite a bit of texture to it.
- The colors are hard to see online: From the photos online I thought that the gray I chose would be just a bit lighter. It was pretty dark. I wish they had a larger sample section to view the colors.

What can you win?
A $50 coupon to spend over at Sissy Little!

How do you win? Please follow these steps... AND make sure I have a way to contact you through e-mail. If I don't... I'll have to delete the entry... :(

Sadie Ryan Keepsakes is a small family owned business located in Louisiana! I LOVE to support small businesses. Their tiles are the perfect way to display your babies announcement! OR, anything really. They can make a tile out of almost any announcement or card.

Why I love it:
- Quality: It's made very well.
- Photo: I love that I could put a photo of my baby on it!
- Can hang on the wall: comes with the option to hang on the wall with a hook that's attached very well.
- Fast process: From the order to when I received the tile it was a VERY short amount of time!
- The stand: I already have SO many photos on my wall... it's nice to have a little stand for the tile.
- Color: The tile can have color on it. I chose to go with black and white.

Downsides:
- Needs more options: I LOVE my tile, but I wish there were more options to choose from. More tile desings?
- More stands to choose from: Love my stand, but more variety would be nice.

Yes: I VERY much recommend this. Very sweet!

Product Review'n and a Giveaway: Prince LionHeart Universal Organizer {CLOSED}

Prince LionHeart sent me their Universal Organizer to review!

I've now been using this item for about 3 weeks. Maybe not EXACTLY as it was intended to be used (since we make most of our own baby food). But, I thought it would be perfect as a drawer organizer.

For the LONGEST time we had stored all of Ruari's bottles... spoons... and any other baby eating things in bowls on our counter top. With a kitchen as small as ours is... it was getting a bit annoying. We NEED every inch of space in that kitchen.

So, the day I got this in the mail: I reorganized. I realized it may be time to move things around a bit since we have a baby that's close to walking (and who's figuring out how to open things). The drawer that the organizer is currently in used to be our knife drawer. Ha! That HAD to move! Here's how it looks now. . .

Why I love it:
- The stand folds up: I really love that. Since I didn't really need to use it for storing baby food jars... it's nice that the stand folds up and I can place the organizer in the drawer.
- The separator: I like the little separator. It's nice for splitting up all the little baby things.
- The separator is removable: Yup, that's great!
- Easy to see the baby jars: Yes, I did say that I don't use this to store baby food... BUT, if I did I'd love it. Instead of stacking tiny jars of baby food up in the cupboard (where it's hard to tell what you have) all the food is up and visible.
- Can be used for other things: When I'm done storing baby supplies... the organizer can be used to store spatulas and other kitchen utensils. OR, knowing me... it will probably end up in my art studio space to separate my pens. I have many pens. :D
- It's VERY easy to clean: No weird corners to collect dust. Just wipe it down.

Downsides:
- Only one separator: I know the separator is in my "Love" list.. but, I think it would be very nice to have an option to have more than one.
- Takes up a bit of space in it's standing position: I do love that it's a convenient way to hold your baby food jars... but, in the standing position it takes up quite a bit of space in my cupboard. I have quite the tiny kitchen... so, I don't want anything on my countertops AND I don't want something to take up too much cupboard space.
- I wish it was longer and/or wider: since I'm using this in a drawer I wish it was larger. It fills up pretty fast. OR, I wish there were extensions.

Yes: I VERY much recommend this. It doesn't only have to be for baby food. Get creative... organize!

You can find this product here.. on Amazon: Prince Lionheart Universal Drawer Organizer
Prince Lionheart also has a pretty amazing community of Facebook. They do lots of contests and giveaways. Check it out if you'd like!

Do you need some more organization in your life? One of my readers will win the Universal Organizer!
